David Oprea has a degree in Romanian Law issued by the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest, a degree in European Law granted by Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne University, after graduating the French - Romanian College of European Studies, as well as a Master degree in Business Law from Paris 2 Pantheon Assas University. He also undertook a traineeship in the Paris office of a global American international law firm.

As an associate in one of Romania’s most reputed law firms for several years, David was involved from early stages of his career in advising high-profile international clients and in working on major private and public transactions. Furthermore, David managed complex legal issues, including various financing structures and cross - border joint -ventures, from the position of in - house counsel with one of the largest group of companies operating on the Romanian market, active in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector, this position enabling him to acquire valuable insight on companies’ day-to-day operations.

David provides legal advice especially on contracts and company law, banking and finance, telecommunications and competition issues, as well on mergers and acquisitions projects.

He is fluent in English and French and conversant in Italian.
